Low voltage 48V led strip 6W, 750 lm, 6000°K model 6W-L10-48V
Led strip white light in underground mines is subject to international safety standards to prevent accidents inside tunnels.
The labor departments of some countries have their own standards and establish that the mining tunnel must be illuminated at least at 50 lux at ground level only for free pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
Our low voltage 48V led strip 6W, 750 lm, 6000°K white light, model: 6W-L10-48V just fullfil the safety standard of 50 lux minimum for lighting at 4m height only for free transit of vehicular and pedestrian in tunnels.

A typical mining tunnel has dimensions 5m wide per 5m height with capacity for a single truck, we will only need to install one led strip at 4m height on one side of the tunnel to achieve an illuminance or luminous efficiency of 55 lux as you can see at image.
As it is a low-power 6W LED strip with 750 lm illuminance or luminous efficiency of around 50 to 55 lux at a height of 4m, it is also recommended for tunnels and micro tunnels with lighting less than 3m high.
They are usually used in countries where the standard voltage of 110VAC prevails, however they can also be powered at 220VAC, which is why they are called multi-voltage or multi-range led strips.
Our LED strips can be easily installed on power distribution cables, cable trays or on 1/8 steel cable catenaries, where they can be relocated for other mining tasks.
It is a 10m modular LED strip because it is maintenance-free, which means that if a segment is damaged it can be replaced quickly, saving on maintenance costs.
Each 10m segment of LED strip has an isolation fuse that is recommended by international standards to prevent the fire from spreading to the next 10m LED strip due to a short circuit caused by a truck impact.
That is why we do not recommend long segments of single-piece LED strips of 50m or 100m.
It is preferable that these be modular, measuring 10 m, to prevent fires from spreading to other areas of the tunnel.

Each set of LED strip comes in a 10m roll that includes its respective mounting accessories, which are 20 clips and 20 plastic straps, for easy installation by holding it every 0.5m on power distriution cables, cable trays, or 1/8 steel cable catenaries.
One led driver is included for every 10 sets of LED strip.
LED strips are rugged, resistant to compression, dust, moisture and acid water with an IP68 penetration rating because you can submerge them in water.
They are extruded with food grade silicone, a transparent fire retardant material, halogen-free because when burned it does not generate toxic gases.
The 48V low voltage LED strip is connected under the American standard at 110V with a brown cable to the live and blue to the neutral, also at 220V with two 110V live cables without the neutral, the polarity of the cables does not matter.
When we do it under the European standard at 230V, we do it respecting the polarity by connecting the brown to live wire and the blue to the neutral wire.
It is worth mentioning that 99% of the high voltage led strips 220V have a tolerance range of 200 to 230VAC but the American standard has live wires of 110V, 115V, 120V and 127V and when you exceed 230V when you have two live wires of 127V or 254V, led strips burn out.
This overvoltage problem is not a problem for this type of 48V low voltage LED strip, which uses LED drivers that convert high voltage energy 100 to 300 VAC to low voltage 48 VDC, so it is also recommended for places with high voltage variations when using portable power generators.

Each box of 100m of 48V low voltage LED strip includes 10 sets that come in 10m rolls with their mounting accessories and also includes one LED driver per box to power 100m.
Cardboard boxes are a biodegradable and environmentally friendly material.
However, couriers often leave these cardboard boxes exposed to rain and moisture, the cardboard disintegrates and the goods are lost during transport.
Our company iluminatronics seals the cardboard boxes with adhesive nylon to prevent them from being destroyed by moisture during transport.
